Locals came to the City Council with Ukrainian symbolic. Yesterday the occupiers were trying to break into Slavutich. Due to the inequality of forces, today they managed to break through the Territorial Defense Forces and Russian tanks entered the city, Slavutych City Council web site reports. Civilians came to the City Council, carrying Ukrainian symbolic to show the occupiers that they are not welcomed. Local authorities reported about battles for Slavutych yesterday. “It was really tough in Slavutych yesterday. Our defenders kept resistance bravely and devotedly. But our forces are unequal. Our Territorial Defense Forces resists invader’s army! And our guys are real heroes. We thank the Armed Forces for their artillery support. Unfortunately, we have our victims. Quantity and personalities are being specified now”, - the Head of Slavutych city, Yurii Fomichev reported. Earlier Territorial Defence Forces have heroically fought off the first Russian attempt to attack Slavutych. Read also:
