Tyson Fury weighs in at 26 pounds lighter than Mariusz Wach ahead of Friday's fight in Thailand
Tyson Fury weighed in nearly two stones lighter than Mariusz Wach for Friday's heavyweight fight in Thailand.
Fury clocked in at 265lbs, two pounds lighter than he was when he faced Arslanbek Makhmudov in April.
But in a remarkable reversal of roles, Fury was dwarfed by Wach who tipped the scales at 291.4lbs, 26.4 pounds heavier.
"Yes [I've put in the work], this is my second camp back-to-back after a 16-month lay-off. I'm getting sharper, fitter, and stronger every day," Fury said at the weigh-in in Pattaya.
"I've never faced a man heavier than me. I'm very happy to be fighting. I'm not banking on any fight happening or not happening. I'm a fighter, I want to keep busy. I've had one fight in over two years.
"I want to box his head off for 12 rounds, if possible. I'm there to box and move, use my attributes. I've got to be 100 per cent focused, switched on, take nobody as an easy touch and do my job, like I always do."
