Wesley Fofana, a long-term transfer target for Chelsea, has reportedly been sent to the US to finish his medical. The 21-year-old Frenchman, who has spent a significant part of this summer’s transfer window being heavily linked with a move away from Leicester, appears finally set to leave the King Power. The Foxes have finally agreed to a cost of about £70 million for the defender after multiple approaches from Chelsea, including an initial offer of £63 million, were turned down, according to The Athletic. Meanwhile, Fofana is rumored to have signed a six-year contract to join Thomas Tuchel’s team.
