Zelenskyi discusses investments in Ukraine's reconstruction with Wall Street representatives
According to Ukrainian government officials, the meeting took place on September 23 in New York during the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. Discussions focused primarily on helping Ukraine navigate the winter period and supporting its economy.
Reuters noted that Ukraine is preparing for a difficult winter amid intensifying Russian strikes on infrastructure and key export industries, deepening the country's budget crisis. According to the outlet, Ukraine's daily war expenditures have risen to approximately 190 million US dollars this year.
American banking giant Citi and the American Chamber of Commerce organized the meeting, which brought together representatives from over two dozen US companies.

During his visit, the Ukrainian president scheduled around 20 meetings, including talks with the US president, European leaders, and members of Congress. Planned activities also include signing a new Drone Deal and discussing the further strengthening of Ukraine's air defense.
Additionally, Volodymyr Zelenskyi spoke at the Sixth Summit of the International Crimea Platform in New York. The head of state declared that a full return to international law is possible only with the complete restoration of Ukraine's territorial sovereignty, including Crimea.
