Ukrainian strongmen win Ultimate Strongman World Championship and reclaim world's strongest title
According to the outlet, the Ultimate Strongman World Championship traditionally brought together the world's strongest athletes. Competitors from Ukraine, South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States, Brazil, Türkiye, Zambia, Scotland, and other countries took part in the event.

Hazaiev also added that on the second day of the championship, Ivan Myskovets won silver in the under-105 kg weight category. In the battle for gold, the Ukrainian lost to a German competitor by just 0.5 points. Yevhenii Nastenko finished fourth.
The team world championship, held on June 28, became the culmination of the tournament. Ukraine's team confidently secured victory, winning four of the five disciplines.

The Ukrainian team that won the title of "Strongest Nation on the Planet 2026" included Oleksandr Dubovyi, Valerii Hazaiev, Volodymyr Reksha, Ivan Myskovets, and Yevhenii Nastenko.
This victory became Ukraine's fifth in the history of the Ultimate Strongman Team World Championship. Ukrainian strongmen previously won the title of the world's strongest nation in 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2023.

As Rubryka reported, Ukrainian athlete Olha Liashchuk won the Arnold Strongwoman Classic for the third time in her career, scoring 50.5 points and earning the title of the world's strongest woman.
It should be noted that Ukrainian strongmen in Dnipro set a world record for team towing an 18-ton truck over a distance of 20 meters in the shortest time. The team set a new record in 16.72 seconds, then beat it, finishing in 16.47 seconds.
As reported earlier, strongman Pavlo Kordiaka from the Lviv region set a Guinness World Record in Milan by lifting five logs weighing 100, 120, 140, 160, and 180 kg in the shortest time. His name was entered into the Guinness World Records.
