Annual Vyshyvanka March in support of Ukraine takes place in London

The Vyshyvanka March has traditionally remained one of the most important and largest socio-cultural events of the Ukrainian community in the United Kingdom.

Each year, it brings together members of the Ukrainian diaspora, friends of Ukraine, and everyone who supports the Ukrainian people.

The march is also intended to remind the international community of Ukraine's ongoing struggle for independence, justice, and the restoration of peace.

The Embassy expressed its sincere gratitude to British partners and international friends of Ukraine who joined the march and walked alongside members of the Ukrainian community in a united display of support.

As a reminder, on May 24 last year, the annual Vyshyvanka March once again brought thousands of participants to the streets of central London. The event was organized by the Support Ukraine / London Euromaidan initiative with the participation of leading Ukrainian organizations across the United Kingdom.

It was also previously reported that Ukraine's Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity, together with the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC), is launching the global "Vyshyvanka Unites" campaign to mark the 20th anniversary of World Vyshyvanka Day, which will be celebrated on May 21, 2026.
