US Open: Sky Sports agrees three-year extension to show the US Open until end of 2030

Sky has agreed a three-year extension to its US Open deal, ensuring Sky Sports and NOW remains the exclusive home of the tournament in the UK and Ireland until the end of 2030.

As part of the partnership with the United States Tennis Association (USTA), Sky Sports will retain exclusive live coverage of all men's and women's singles, doubles, mixed doubles, juniors and wheelchair competitions throughout the three-week tournament. The agreement was negotiated by the USTA's media rights partner, IMG.

Alongside broadcast rights, fans in the UK and Ireland will also be able to catch up on all the action with clips and highlights available across Sky's digital and social platforms.

This year's coverage has featured augmented reality graphics, enhanced data integrations, in-depth touchscreen analysis and behind-the-scenes content, bringing fans closer to the action than ever before.

Sky's tennis coverage is led by presenter Gigi Salmon and includes expert analysis from Tim Henman and Laura Robson, alongside additional talent and co-commentators at events throughout the season. Match commentary is provided by Jonathan Overend.

The announcement comes amid a drama-filled US Open featuring the shock first-round exit of 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic and the latest finish in tournament history between Ben Shelton and Carlos Alcaraz as the American emerged victorious at 3.33am.

A thrilling women's final meanwhile awaits as World No 1 Aryna Sabalenka takes on World No 2 Elena Rybakina on Saturday.

Live tennis is available all year on Sky, including full coverage of the ATP and WTA Tours on Sky Sports or available to stream with NOW and the Sky Sports app. Sky Sports will broadcast over 4,000 matches and 80 tournaments this season.

The partnership extension adds to Sky's already unrivalled portfolio in the UK and Ireland with more top-quality sport than anywhere else, with most sport rights renewed until near the end of the decade. That includes 1,500 games from the Premier League, WSL, EFL and SPFL, exclusive live coverage from every Formula 1 race weekend until the end of 2034, home men's and women's international England cricket, every shot from the golf Majors, year-round coverage of darts, world class boxing from promoters Zuffa and MVP, and more action from the NFL, Netball Super League and rugby league.
