Harry Kane's goal record vs. Man United ahead of Champions League clash
Bayern Munich take on Manchester United in matchweek 1 of the UEFA Champions League.
The German champions host United on Wednesday evening at the Allianz Arena.
It will be Harry Kane's first Champions League game for his new side after signing for Bayern for £86 million in the summer.
Man United were reportedly interested in signing Kane from Tottenham Hotspur but signed 20-year-old Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta instead.
Kane left the Premier League in August as the second-highest scorer in its history with 213 goals but never lifted any silverware at Spurs. Munich are second favourites behind Manchester City to lift the Champions League at Wembley in June 2024 as Kane goes in search of a trophy.

The England captain has faced United 19 times in his club career, 18 of those in the Premier League and once in the FA Cup.
Most of his success has come at Old Trafford and the reverse fixture of this Champions League clash doesn't come until matchweek 6. That game is scheduled to take place on December 12.
His last goal against the Red Devils came at the Theatre of Dreams during Spurs' 3-2 loss in March 2022. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick that day.
Most memorably for Kane, he scored a brace during Spurs' 6-1 thumping over United during the 2020/21 season. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the game happened behind closed doors.

Kane has played 32 Champions League games so far in his career, all of which came during his time at Tottenham.
He's scored 21 goals and contributed five assists during those games. When Kane scored against Juventus in the 2017/18 Round of 16 he became the first player in Champions League history to have scored nine goals in his first nine competition appearances.
The striker then became Spurs' top goalscorer in all European competitions after getting the only goal in a 1-0 win against Borussia Dortmund in the 2018/19 Champions League knockout stage.
Kane was also the fastest player to reach 20 Champions League goals when he found the back of the net in a 4-2 win over Olympiakos back in November 2019. He managed that feat in 24 appearances, beating Alessandro Del Piero's previous best of 26. However, Erling Haaland has since beaten that record.
