LSU defensive lineman injures himself celebrating

An excessive celebration may cost your team 15 yards. It might also cost yourself an injury. Injuries in football are a relatively common occurrence, given how physical the sport is, and all. But sometimes, freak things happen: LSU defensive lineman Maason Smith found this out the hard way on Sunday night. During the Tigers' matchup with Florida State, Smith went to celebrate with fellow defensive lineman BJ Ojulari, when the joyous moment went very, very awry: Smith seemed to land awkwardly on his left leg, seemingly injury himself in the process.
