Deshaun Watson faces reporters for first time since settlement with NFL

The Deshaun Watson suspension saga is over.  On Thursday, the NFL has reached a settlement for an 11-game suspension with an $5 million fine for Watson after he faced more than 20 accusations of sexual assault. Shortly after news came down, Watson stood in front of reporters, maintaining his innocence despite accepting a harsher punishment from the NFL.   “I’ve always been able to stand on my innocence and always said I never assaulted or disrespected anyone but at the same point I have to continue to push forward with my life and career.” Watson also indicated that just because settlements happen doesn't imply an admission of guilt.
