This Saturday, Triller Fight Club is back. One of the most unique fighting organizations returns to action from inside The Forum in Los Angeles. The main event will be Sergey Kovalev vs. Tervel Pulev.

Kovalev started boxing at the age of 11. He turned pro in 2009 and won the WBO light-heavyweight title in 2013. “Krusher” won the WBA and IBF light-heavyweight titles from Bernard Hopkins in 2013. He lost his titles to Andre Ward in 2016 and the rematch a year later. Kovalev won the WBO title but lost it to Eleider Alvarez.

Regaining the belt in 2019, Kovalev would lose the title against Canelo Alvarez, who moved up in weight, in 2019. That was his last pro bout.

A bronze medalist in the 2012 Olympic games, Pulev turned pro in 2016. The brother of Kubrat Pulev won the WBA International cruiserweight title in 2019. After a year-plus away from the ring, Pulev returned in January 2021, beating Vikapita Meroro via TKO.
