Back in the fall, the internet was swarming with tales of Chris and Selena being a whole *thing*. Turns out, they were just fanfic, but there was some "evidence" to discuss. For one, Chris started following Selena on Instagram, which created a lot of buzz given the fact that she went on record in 2015 saying that she’s into him. As in, she told Andy Cohen, “I kind of have a crush on Chris Evans. Isn’t he cute? He’s very cute.”

On top of that, fans think her reflection was spotted in Chris' piano (lol):
AND she popped up on Taylor Swift's TikTok wearing something that certainly looks a lot like Chris's Knives Out sweater:

This one is also probably fanfic, but Lizzo and Chris have gotten flirty on social media. It all started after Lizzo revealed on TikTok that she slid into Chris’s Insta DMs:

And THEN a fan asked Lizzo, “LIZZO HOW ARE THINGS WITH CHRIS EVANS KEEP US UPDATED BESTIE,” and she shared their DMs:
Chris and Lily were spotted spending time together in summer 2020, but neither of them commented on the relationship. In fact, Lily refused to confirm whether or not they’d even dated during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK, which noted she “won’t discuss whether or not she is dating the Captain America star Chris Evans.”
These two were everyone’s favorite couple for several moments there, but sadly they didn’t last. Chris and Jenny met on the set of their movie Gifted in 2016, and Jenny told Entertainment Tonight, “It’s kind of like I got my dream seventh grade boyfriend. We didn’t know each other growing up, but we grew up about a half hour away from each other. We’ve been friends for a while.” They ended up breaking up in February 2017 but were seen together in October of that year and later even flirted for the world to see on Twitter:

Sadly, they ended up splitting again, with Jenny explaining in a Vulture interview, “Chris is a very, very famous person. For him to go to a restaurant is totally different than for me to go. I sit in my window and I say hi to people on the street. I have more freedom because I’m not Captain America. I’m mostly a cartoon.” She added, “This is what I needed to do to feel normal. To be alone.”
They were spotted out to dinner literally once, so not sure if this truly counts as DATING, but ya know.
Sandra just happened to be Chris’s celeb crush, and he ended up dating her a few years after they met at a Vanity Fair Oscar party. “I used to be in love with Sandra Bullock when I was growing up. Sandy B. was my girl,” he told Playboy. “I remember seeing Speed when I was in seventh grade and just thinking, That’s her.”
Obviously, these two didn’t last, and a source told E! News at the time, “They are not in a relationship, but they are definitely hanging out and are in the early getting-to-know-each-other phase. They haven’t put a title on it, but they really like each other.”
Chris and Minka dated on and off throughout the mid-aughts but clearly weren’t meant to be. In 2013, a source told Us Weekly, “It didn’t make sense for them to be together right now” but they “still care about each other.”
Apparently, Dianna and Chris dated briefly after hitting it off at L.A.’s Soho House, lol, but their relationship wasn’t exactly covered by the mid-aughts internet (rude).
These two dated for only a few months, which was just enough time to walk the Met Gala red carpet together!
I know, right? Whomst knew! But yeah, Chris and Jessica started dating in 2001 and continued dating alllll the way to 2006. Jessica even told Cosmopolitan (hi) in 2005 that they’d discussed marriage, saying, “We always talk about it. We both want to be married, and we both want to have children. But we’re not engaged, so the rumors are false…so far.”
She also revealed that Chris did a ton of sweet stuff for her, like, “When I turned 21, I actually awoke to find my bed covered in rose petals. In the middle of the night, he had pulled apart at least 24 roses in all different colors and sprinkled the petals everywhere. He’s definitely a keeper.”
Kate and Chris are rumored to have dated after meeting on the set of their movie The Newcomers back in 2000. Look at how adorable they were!
