Dua Lipa Emulates Punk Schoolgirl Aesthetic on a Yacht

Dua Lipa's newest Instagram photo dump outfit is an edgy twist on the preppy schoolgirl aesthetic. The "Don't Stop Now" singer shared new photos of herself posing on a yacht while dressed in two statement pieces from London-based designer Chopova Lowena: a white collared shirt with flared cut-out sleeves and the label's highly-coveted plaid belted mini skirt. Lipa wore a purple and black iteration of the latter, and her belt featured a studded embellished heart plus red and blue flower decals. Ever the maximalist, she went all out with her accessories. For footwear, she wore another covetable piece, this time repping Balenciaga's Cagole boots in black. She color-coordinated with rectangular shades featuring a hot pink frame, also from Balenciaga, and a snakeskin mini bag from KNWLS. "🌼stockholm archipelago 🌸," she wrote in the caption. A post shared by DUA LIPA (@dualipa) The star's social media has provided a canvas for her to share her most intriguing and experimental off-duty outfits. Recently, she also shared a glimpse of another innovative ensemble, the centerpiece of which was a ruffled, multi-colored, and Y2k-esque dress hailing from Diesel's 2023 resort collection. She paired the piece with bubblegum pink sneakers from her collaboration with Puma and hot pink chain earrings from Italian brand Eera. A post shared by DUA LIPA (@dualipa) "I always try to find designers that are up and coming, especially when I’m in a certain city," Lipa told Refinery29 in 2018. "If I was in Berlin, for example, I’d try to wear designers from there. It’s important to explore and try new things, and grow with those designers that are up and coming since I’m an up-and-coming artist, too. This way, we can grow and change together."
