Olivia Rodrigo and More Used their Glastonbury Sets to Call Out Supreme Court Justices

Celebs like Olivia Rodrigo, Megan the Stallion, and Billie Eilish are using their massive platforms to speak out against the end of Roe v. Wade. During their sets at Glastonbury Festival in the U.K., the young stars both spoke out over the recent Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, speaking candidly during breaks in their performances. On Saturday afternoon, Rodrigo dedicated a duet of Lily Allen's song "F*ck You" to the five justices who voted in favor of ending abortion on the federal level, naming them one by one in a powerful moment. "I'm devastated and terrified," the "Driver's License" singer said. "So many women and so many girls are going to die because of this. I wanted to dedicate this next song to the five members of the Supreme Court who have showed us that at the end of the day, they truly don't give a sh*t about freedom." "The song is for the justices: Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh. We hate you! We hate you," she continued. Megan the Stallion also spoke out against the ruling during her Saturday night set, and specifically called out her home state of Texas. As one of the states with "trigger laws" in place, an abortion ban is set to go in effect in Texas 30 days after Roe is overturned. "Y’all know I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t take a second to call out these stupid-a*s men. Texas really embarrassing me right now y’all, that’s my home state," she said, while giving a thumbs down. "I want to have it on the record that the motherf*****g hot girls and the hot boys do not support this bulls**t that y’all campaigning for. My body, my motherf*****g choice." On the night the ruling was announced, Billie Eilish became the youngest ever solo headliner at the world-famous festival. She briefly shared her thoughts on the decision before singing "Your Power," a moving ballad about an abusive relationship. "Today us a really dark day for women in the U.S. I'm just going to say that because I can't bear to think about it anymore in this moment." The young stars join a number of celebrities and public figures who have spoken out against the devastating decision, which overturns the constitutional right to safe and ready access to abortion.
