Duchess Meghan is supporting those who are fighting for better gun control laws.
Earlier this week, the Duchess of Sussex sent treats and coffee to those working with Moms Demand Action, a group of concerned parents that's part of Everytown, the largest gun violence prevention organization in the country.
Founder Shannon Watts shared the news and a photo of Meghan's personal note on Twitter.
"@MomsDemand volunteers and staff have been working around the clock for weeks, so it was moving to receive such a supportive note - and snacks! - from the Duchess of Sussex today," Watts tweeted.
In the letter, which was printed on stationery that included her royal monogram, Meghan expressed gratitude for their work.
"To each of you and your fearless leader, Shannon, a huge thank you for the work you are doing to keep our kids, families, and communities safe," the duchess wrote. "Please know that while you may feel exhausted by your endless hours of dedication to this cause, I hope you feel energized in knowing that the work you're doing is vital and so deeply appreciated."
She continued, "As a mom, as a friend, thank you so much!"

In a subsequent tweet, Watts added, "Lots of questions about the snacks! Donuts, bagels w/the works, coffee, cookies, etc… Delicious and appreciated."
Meghan, who's mom to three-year-old Archie and one-year-old Lilibet, previously paid her respects to those lives lost at the elementary school shooting in Uvalde, Texas. In May, she traveled to Uvalde "in a personal capacity as a mother, to offer her condolences and support in person to a community experiencing unimaginable grief," a spokesperson confirmed to BAZAAR.com at the time.
BuzzFeed News reported that she visited a community center that was hosting a blood drive, where she dropped off two crates full of "sandwiches, beverages, and desserts" for the blood donors.
