Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's Complete Relationship Timeline

It is officially the final chapter of a defining Kardashian era. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are now married—meaning that the nine-year, on-and-off-again whirlwind courtship between Kourtney and Scott Disick has reached a formal close. Yet, we can't help but ask: What would have become of the hit E! reality series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, without Kourtney and Scott? The pair's chaotic, messy romance in all its passionate, toxic glory anchored the show's 20 eventful seasons. Whether you love, hate, hate to love, or love to hate this duo, it's undeniable that they share quite a history. To find out how the two got here, where they're at now, or who Lord Disick is at all, read on for (and reminisce) the full relationship timeline between Kourtney and Scott below. Kourtney, then 27, and Scott, then 23, first meet through Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis— whom Kourtney briefly dated—at his mansion in Mexico. Kourtney later revealed on Keeping Up with the Kardashians that she and mom Kris Jenner were initially apprehensive about him. "I just thought he was so annoying," Kourtney explains during a Season 1 episode. "He was four years younger, he lived in New York, he didn’t have a job." A post shared by Kourtney ❤️ (@kourtneykardash) The two start dating and enter a several-year-long honeymoon period. Meanwhile, KUWTK debuts this year, introducing the family of moguls, and Kourtney's boyfriend, Scott. In a November episode of KUWTK, the two also nearly get married after a romantic night out in Las Vegas. They agree to wed before they return home, though eventually call off the marriage after Kris strongly discourages the decision. The two split up for the first time after Kourtney finds evidence of Scott cheating on her on his old phone, which revealed text exchanges with another contact labelled "My Wife." Newly single Kourtney flies out to Miami with sister Khloé Kardashian to film their reality spin-off series, Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami. After several months apart, Scott visits Kourtney in Miami, where the two eventually reconcile and conceive their first child, Mason Disick (born Dec. 14, 2009). Kourtney breaks things off with Scott a second time following Scott's belligerent drunk night out with the family, where he infamously interrogated a waiter and punched a wall. "You're not going to be around Mason while you're working on yourself," Kourtney tells Scott in a Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami episode. "I can’t do this anymore. I love Mason more than I love you and that’s what it is." The two have presumably worked through things since then, as they are introduced again as a couple in the 2011 premiere of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Kourtney's spin-off series with Kim Kardashian. Still, Scott's struggles with substance abuse and showing up as a parent become a recurring issue in the relationship. Scott proposes to Kourtney in Kourtney and Kim Take New York premier episode—but Kourtney refuses, telling him she's not looking to get married or risk messing up what they have. "I just feel like right now I'm happy with the way things are," Kourtney says. She still offers to have another kid with him, and the two later conceive Penelope (born July 8, 2012). Several years of up-and-downs and a third child (Reign Disick, born Dec. 14, 2014) later, Kourtney finally calls off their relationship for a third time when Scott indulges in another partying binge and gets caught with an ex-girlfriend. The relationship enters a turning point as they begin to see other partners again while embarking on a healthier longterm co-parenting friendship. The two get back together one last time for a brief period, a source claims. "They are back together and giving their relationship a try again," the insider told E! News. "Scott's mellowed out a lot and hasn't been partying." Though during this time, Kourtney is also getting to know Algerian model Younes Bendjima, whom she met just a month prior during Paris Fashion Week and would eventually begin to date in 2017—the same year Scott also begins his three-year relationship with Sofia Richie. Kourtney confirms on social media that she and Scott are just co-parenting by this point. "MOM and DAD back at it again with the coparenting skills," she captioned a selfie of them together on Instagram. A post shared by Kourtney ❤️ (@kourtneykardash) Scott, now separated from Sofia, admits to his jealousy issues during a conversation with Kourtney on KUWTK. All the while, it becomes more widely speculated that Kourtney and Travis Barker have entered a serious romance. A source tells People that Scott has always been jealous of Kourtney's exes, but is even more so with Travis. "Before Travis, Kourtney’s relationships were never serious," the insider says. "It was more like flings. With Travis, it’s different.” Scott continues to make his jealousy abundantly clear around the other men in Kourtney's life, telling Andy Cohen—jokingly, but not—that he wants to "kill them," including "the last guy" (a.k.a. Travis). Kravis are officially engaged—and Scott hasn't taken the news well. An insider tells E! News that while Scott will always stay a part of the Kardashian family, it's been "hard for him to be around Kourtney and Travis" and that he isn't speaking to Kourtney during this time. A post shared by Kourtney ❤️ (@kourtneykardash) The new trailer for The Kardashians, the family's new reality series on Hulu, reveals that Kourtney and Travis have been trying to conceive a child together. Scott is unhappy about the decision, an Entertainment Tonight source reveals, though is trying to keep a family-first mentality. Per an Us Weekly source, Scott "wishes things were different" and calls Kourtney "the one that got away," but also "adores his kids and would do anything to make them happy." Later this month, Kourtney marries Travis in a surprise Las Vegas ceremony officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator—though without a license, so it's not official just yet. Scott has yet to publicly react to the news.
