Italian PM Meloni pledges military aid to Ukraine

In an address to the Italian parliament, PM Giorgia Meloni said the only path towards peace between Kyiv and Moscow lies through helping Ukraine defend itself militarily, Reuters reported on Oct. 26. “Peace can be achieved by supporting Ukraine ... it is the only chance we have for the two sides to negotiate,” said Meloni.
