The Lend-Lease Law for Ukraine entered into force on October 1

Now the U.S. president will be able to provide weapons to Ukraine without coordination with the Congress On Saturday, October 1, 2022, the U.S. Lend-Lease Law for Ukraine entered into force. This was announced by the Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk. “Today the U.S. law on Lend-Lease for Ukraine entered into force. And this means more weapons, different and of high quality. Ukraine will definitely get all its territories back,” Mr Stefanchuk wrote on Twitter. The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, thanked U.S. President Joe Biden and the American people “for this powerful step for protection of democracy.”
