Duda accuses the German government of violating its promise to supply tanks

The President of Poland Andrzej Duda accuses Germany of violating its promise to supply Warsaw modern Leopard tanks in exchange for those handed over to Ukraine. “Germany has promised to supply these tanks. But you have not kept that promise. And to be honest, Poland is very disappointed,” Duda said in an interview with WELT-TV on the backstage of the Davos Forum, harshly criticizing the behavior of the federal government. The government in Berlin promised Poland Leopard tanks instead of the existing Polish tanks that are being supplied to Ukraine.
