The European Union needs Ukraine just like Ukraine needs the European Union.

This was stated by the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, during a conversation with the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Malta Angelo Farrugia “It is a pleasure that according to Eurobarometer, 77% of Malta citizens favor Ukraine's accession to the EU. This exceeds the overall level of support for Ukraine among EU member states (66%). I hope for continuous support from Malta to Ukraine. The introduction of the 6th package of sanctions as soon as possible and closer cooperation between the parliaments of Ukraine and Malta.” -Ruslan Stefanchuk emphasized.
