Macron confirms to Zelensky France's readiness to become guarantor of Ukraine's security

French President Emmanuel Macron, in a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, confirmed the readiness of France to become guarantors of Ukraine's security. "We talked about the progress of negotiations to finally resolve the conflict and ensure the security of the European continent. In this regard, the president of the Republic recalled his commitment to Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity and France's willingness to contribute to an agreement on security guarantees for Ukraine," according to a release made public on the French embassy's website Saturday evening.
