Erdogan said the talks in Istanbul, where Ukraine submitted a written proposal to Russia to end the war, gave "significant impetus" to the process.
He again offered to receive the presidents of Ukraine and Russia for talks.

Note
Earlier, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said that Germany was ready to guarantee Ukraine's security, but said that the war was continuing and that a breakthrough in peace talks had not yet taken place.
