Over 40 Nations Vowed to Support Ukraine's Recovery

Representatives of more than 40 countries, along with multilateral organizations such as the European Investment Bank and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, signed the Lugano Declaration outlining a roadmap for Ukraine's recovery. The adopted declaration provides Ukraine with political, financial, and technical support. The declaration is based on the recovery and development plan presented by Ukraine on Monday at the Conference on Ukraine's restoration in Lugano, "Government Portal" reports. "Heads of state and government, ministers, and high-ranking representatives pledged to support Ukraine on its path to recovery — from the beginning to long-term recovery. On behalf of the entire Ukrainian people, I want to thank them for that," commented Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal. The Prime Minister noted that all highly respected participants of the Conference supported the creation of a coordination platform between the Government of Ukraine and all bilateral and multilateral partners, organizations, and international financial organizations for the preparation and implementation of the Plan.
