Ukraine has passed a law on mandatory shelters in new buildings

At the session on June 19, the Verkhovna Rada passed a bill on the mandatory availability of shelters in new buildings that will protect people from air or chemical attacks. This is stated on the official website of the Verkhovna Rada. From now on, the new law requires developers to design and build shelters in each new building. And the body of state architectural and construction control may not provide the developer with a certificate of readiness for the operation of a building if it will not be equipped with a shelter.
