Trump supporter Loomer criticizes Russian oil purchases and explains her support for Ukraine
The journalist stated that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has already "surpassed the ISIS terrorist organization" with his actions. She also opposed attempts to blame the Ukrainian president for continuing the war and criticized calls to remove him from office.
Loomer stressed that she remains a supporter of Trump and understands the frustration of Americans forced to pay more for diesel fuel. At the same time, according to her, Zelenskyi is trying to save his people from Russian attacks.
To support her position, she recalled a July interview with Zelenskyi at the Mariinskyi Palace. According to Loomer, the President of Ukraine then expressed full readiness to hold elections after Russian attacks cease and to sign a peace agreement.
Separately, the journalist addressed purchases of Russian oil. She recalled that Trump himself previously opposed such purchases and called the imposition of sanctions against Russia the right step.
Loomer considers supporting Ukraine a stance that aligns with the interests of the US President and the US.
Speaking about Moscow's unreliability, she cited an example of a Russian strike on a Ukrainian airfield where, according to her, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner were supposed to arrive. Loomer recalled that during their visit, Russia violated a 72-hour agreement on halting attacks, yet faced no consequences.
The American welcomed the announcement of an energy truce, but at the same time expressed conviction that Russia will violate it. As an example, she mentioned her July trip to Ukraine, during which she had to adjust her working conditions because of Russian attacks.
Later, responding to another Trump supporter, the journalist stated that Moscow had already violated the energy truce agreement that same day.
Background
As Rubryka reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi previously stated that Ukraine stands ready to hold elections if Russia agrees to a full ceasefire for at least 60 days. According to Zelenskyi, he understands that Putin is interested in replacing the President of Ukraine.
This statement came after US President Donald Trump called on Ukrainians to elect a new leader. He explained his position by citing the need to reach a deal to end the war.
It should be noted that US President Donald Trump announced that an energy truce in the war between Russia and Ukraine took effect on October 11 and called on both sides not to violate it.
At the same time, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi noted in an interview with Axios that this statement came as "news" to him. However, according to him, if the Russians agree to an energy ceasefire, Ukraine will agree as well.
Nevertheless, according to Zelenskyi, Putin does not want to stop such strikes. At the same time, Ukraine stands ready to cease attacks on Russian oil refineries if Russia stops launching strikes against Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
