Russian Authorities Trying To Hide Real Scale Of Plague Outbreak — Tykhyi
Russian authorities are trying to hide the real scale of a plague outbreak in the country. Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Heorhii Tykhyi stated this at a briefing, UATV English relays.
According to him, Putin’s regime is repeating the same patterns as during the Soviet era, when authorities were unable to guarantee people’s safety.
“Russia is repeating the same patterns as during the Soviet Union, especially its final stage, when the regime couldn’t guarantee minimum safety for its people. Well, who could even imagine the plague in the 21st century? It’s simply an indicator of instability in the country. And, of course, lies. Be more careful about what they say on this topic. They’re not learning the lessons of the 20th century,” Heorhii Tykhyi said.
It should be recalled that the European Union is calling on Russia to provide accurate information about plague cases in the country.
