Another focus area includes the reintegration of service members into the military or civilian life. Consequently, the project covers post-injury recovery and ongoing support in subsequent stages.

Background

The Ukrainian Defense Forces' combat experience offers NATO countries a unique opportunity to launch new joint projects or strengthen existing initiatives, particularly within JATEC. Activities under the JATEC Work Program aim to build interoperability between Ukrainian and NATO procedures—ranging from project activities to enhancing the ability of forces to act together, share weaponry, and apply common protocols and communication systems.

Additionally, Ukrainian experts from the NATO-Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Center (JATEC) provided guidance on countering UAV attacks during NATO exercises. The LCI-X 3-26 Execution served as the third stage of exercises aimed at testing and integrating counter-drone solutions to support NATO's eastern flank.

Representatives of the NATO-Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Center (JATEC) also participated in the final phase of the NATO Loyal Dolos 2025 exercise, evaluating the Alliance unit's combat capabilities.
