“Collected bodies for decoration”: Zelensky about the atrocities of the Russian invaders in Borodyanka and Mariupol

The invaders are collecting bodies of the dead in Mariupol and deporting them. They may be using them in other places according to the scripts of their propaganda. The president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that, after the beginning of the clearing of rubble in Borodyanka in the Kyiv oblast, everything is even more terrifying than in Bucha. There are even more victims of the Russian occupation, stated the head of state in a video address on the 7th of April. “As of now, the Russian state and Russian troops are the greatest threat to freedom, to individual safety and to the concept of human rights as such. After Bucha it is obvious. But now that work has begun to clear out Borodyanka, it is even more terrifying there. There are even more victims of the Russian occupation”, - said Zelensky. “What will happen when the world finds out the truth about what the Russians did in Mariupol? What the world has seen in Bucha and other towns of the Kyiv oblast after the withdrawal of the Russians is there on every single street. Such cruelty, such horrifying crimes”, - stated the president. He also spoke about the plans of the Russian propaganda to prepare a “mirror response” to the shock of any sane human being to the sight of Bucha. “They plan to show the victims of Mariupol and to lie that it wasn’t the Russian troops who had killed them, but actually the Ukrainian defenders. In order to make their fake work, the invaders are collecting bodies of the dead and deporting them to other places, to be used in accordance with the scripts of their propaganda”, - said Zelensky. “We are dealing with invaders who have nothing left in them. Nothing human. To acquit themselves of their crimes, they take the bodies of the dead and use them as set decorations, as props for their propaganda. And this in itself is a war crime, for which each propagandist will carry the responsibility”, - announced the president of Ukraine. We remind that in Borodyanka, almost every private residence has shattered windows and the roads are ruined. Destroyed enemy vehicles lie in the streets. The town remains without electricity and water. Explosive specialists are making the area safe from mines. Rescue crews have only just begun to clear the rubble from the places where dozens of people hid during bombardments. According to the local residents, the Russian inhumans did not allow anyone to be rescued. They simply shot anyone who tried to save their friends and neighbours. Read also:
