In Kyiv, a Russian missile destroyed the Mykhailo Boychuk Academy, and the number of victims increased to 7 people, Apostrophe correspondent Roman Petushkov reported from the scene

As a result of a Russian missile attack in Kyiv, the Mykhailo Boichuk Academy was destroyed and the number of victims increased to 7.

Apostrophe's correspondent Roman Petushkov reports from the scene.

"The building of the Boychuk Academy was damaged today. This is evidenced by the photos published by the State Emergency Service. The first photo shows the academic building, on the right is a nine-story dormitory attached to it with a closed passage," one of the public sources said.

It is noted that it was the only educational institution in the USSR that provided secondary specialized education and trained designers. The major was called "Techniques of Artistic Design".

"Nowadays, the institution was reorganized and named after the outstanding Ukrainian artist, the founder of his genre, Mykhailo Boichuk. He was repressed in the 1930s. Today, just like a hundred years ago, Russians are destroying our culture," the network writes.

"Seven people were injured in Pecherskyi District. Two of them are hospitalized. The rest were treated on the spot. Rescuers continue to clear the rubble. Next to the destroyed building of the state educational institution there is a dormitory with many people. Fortunately, there is no damage there and no one was injured," said Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

Earlier, Apostrophe reported that a Russian missile hit an elite district in the center of Kyiv.
