The AFU shot down three Su-34 aircraft during the day

Thursday, February 29, 2024 was fateful for pilots of enemy bombers - in one day Ukrainian fighters managed to shoot down three Russian Su-34 fighters at once.

This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU Alexander Syrsky.

"After successful combat work on the enemy aircraft at night on February 29, two more Russian aircraft were destroyed: fighter-bombers Su-34 on Avdiivka and Mariupol directions!", - stated in the message.

Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk also commented on the incident.

"It seems that they do not get it! No conclusions are made by Russian pilots! Today at about 9.00 a.m. two more occupants' Su-34s were destroyed on Avdiivka and Mariupol directions!, - he wrote in Telegram-channel.

It should be noted that Ukrainian troops shot down another enemy fighter-bomber on the same day in the morning. And a total of 13 Russian bombers were shot down over the month.
