The other day, the media reported that North Macedonia is transferring four Su-25 attack aircraft to Ukraine. Now this information has been confirmed by the adviser to the head of the Office of the President, Mykhailo Podolyak.
We will remind you that the transfer of attack aircraft was reported only to the media – the country’s defense department did not confirm or deny this information. The Air Force of Ukraine was also unable to confirm the transfer of the aircraft.
‘We currently do not have confirmation from the official sources of Macedonia and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine about the transfer of these planes. It appeared in the press,’ – said Yuriy Ignat, the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
However, today Mykhailo Podolyak wrote on social networks:
‘A friend is known in adversity. It doesn’t matter how big your country is or how big your GDP is, what matters is what kind of heart you have. Many nations today are showing more courage than half of the G20. Like North Macedonia, supporting Ukraine in the form of tanks and planes. We will never we will not forget.’

As you can see, there are no specific details, but obviously it is about the T-72 tanks and Su-25 planes that the journalists wrote about. By the way, North Macedonia bought these attack aircraft from Ukraine in 2001, and a few years later wrote them off due to lack of need.
