'Your Head Will Go Off': Mobilized Soldier Attacks Russian Lieutenant-Colonel
The officer was forced to take his hands out of his pockets and make excuses on phone.
The riots of the mobilized continue in Russia. Recruits in the suburbs of Moscow have had a conflict with officers over simulated preparation for war.
A video has been released of one of the mobilized men attacking a Russian lieutenant colonel.
"A mobilised Russian pushes, curses and mocks a lieutenant colonel of the Russian Armed Forces with the full support and approving cheers of dozens of other soldiers. The lieutenant colonel is forced to take his hands out of his pockets and make excuses on phone. It is telling that the officer is afraid of the mobilized and does not even try to defend himself against the attack and humiliation of his rank. The mobilized treat the senior Russian officer as a scumbag. A unique video demonstrating the real combat effectiveness of a number of Russian units at the front, and showing what a pathetic sight some Russian officers are," Ukrainian journalist Yuriy Butusov commented on the video.
