The LIV Golf tour made its debut in London a few weeks ago, and golf fans were intrigued by the first tournament. Now, the Saudi-backed start-up tour will look to continue to build momentum as it plays in Portland, Oregon.
LIV Golf Portland will begin on Thursday, and the three-day, 54-hole tournament is set to be a bit more exciting than the first. With well-known major winners like Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau and Patrick Reed jumping from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf, the field is looking a bit stronger than it did in London.
The three former major winners are joined by Dustin Johnson, the No. 17 ranked player in the world, and veteran Phil Mickelson, who last year became the oldest player to win a major in golf history. Those names alone will demand attention from golf fanatics and casual fans alike.
As such, plenty of viewers will be interested in catching the action at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club. How can they do it? Here's a breakdown of the ways to watch and live stream LIV Golf Portland.

LIV Golf doesn't have a full-fledged TV deal at this time and is instead hoping to build its popularity through accessibility. LIV Golf Portland, like LIV's first tournament in London, can be watched in its entirety on YouTube, Facebook or the LIV Golf website for free around the world.

LIV Golf will not be broadcast on TV in the United States. You must stream the three-day tournament to watch it, which can easily be done using the tour's website, YouTube or Facebook pages.
Viewers in the U.K. can watch coverage on DAZN and Sky.

LIV Golf's inaugural event in London was headlined by lead announcer Arlo White, who has been NBC's voice of the Premier League in the United States for the past decade. White has also called matches on the World Cup and Olympic stages and is featured as the voice of AFC Richmond, a fictional club from the hit, Emmy-winning TV series "Ted Lasso."
White will be joined in the booth by Jerry Foltz, who has a couple of decades worth as an analyst, play-by-play host and studio host at Golf Channel and NBC, and Dom Boulet, a former player on the Asian Tour widely known as "the voice of golf" in Asia.
Su-Ann Heng will serve as the on-course reporter for LIV Golf Portland. She was once the No. 1 ranked women's golfer in Singapore. Golf Channel contributor Troy Mullins will also be involved in the coverage.

LIV Golf will utilize a shotgun start for its events, meaning that every player in the field will tee off at the same time. They will all begin play on different holes and complete the 18-hole course in order from there.
Play is expected to begin at roughly 4:15 p.m. ET each day with coverage beginning at 4 p.m. ET.
That means play will begin around 1:15 p.m. local time in Portland and 9:15 p.m. in the UK.
Each LIV Golf event will feature 12 teams that are drafted the week of the event by a tour-selected captain. Here is the breakdown of each captain and team for LIV Golf Portland.
Stingers GC won the team portion of LIV Golf London. The team, captained by Louis Oosthuizen, was comprised entirely of South African players and returns intact for Portland with Hennie Du Plessis, Branden Grace and LIV Golf London champion Charl Schwartzel.
LIV Golf Portland will feature a total purse worth $25 million. That's larger than any single event purse on the PGA Tour. The winner of the tournament will receive $4 million and each member of the winning team will take home $750,000 in addition to their payout.
Each of LIV Golf's eight events is expected to have a $25 million purse, so the money on the line at LIV Golf Portland will be commonplace for the upstart PGA Tour rival.

LIV Golf Portland will be at the Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in Portland, Ore. The facility has two courses — Ghost Creek and Witch Hollow — which were built in 1992. The venue hosted the U.S. Amateur in 1996, which was won by Tiger Woods and also held the 2003 U.S. Women's Open.
Pumpkin Ridge has hosted the WinCo Foods Portland Open, part of the Korn Ferry Tour, since 2014.
