After nine seasons in the NHL, Nathan MacKinnon has his Cup.  The Avalanche center is the latest NHL superstar to add a Stanley Cup to their resume. The accomplishment is certainly needed not just for now, but for the future as well when a player's legacies are discussed.  A number of stars have crossed the Cup off their to-do list in recent years. Alex Ovechkin finally won his Cup in 2018. The Lightning have plenty of elite players who got their rings the past two seasons, such as Steven Stamkos, Victor Hedman, Andrei Vasilevskiy and Nikita Kucherov.
