What time does the NASCAR race start today? TV schedule, channel for Ally 400

It's been two weeks since the last NASCAR Cup Series race was held, the Toyota/Save Mart 350. With Formula 1's Canadian Grand Prix and the 24 Hours of Le Mans taking place over the past two weeks, motorsport fans have still been able to get their fixing of racing action. But there's nothing quite like the NASCAR Cup Series, and it finally returns to action Sunday with the Ally 400. Held at Nashville Speedway, the Ally 400 is one of the newer additions to NASCAR's racing calendar — prior to 2021, Music City hadn't hosted a Cup Series race since 1984. Last year's Ally 400 represented a momentous occasion, then, one that was capped off by a brilliant Kyle Larson performance in which the Hendrick Motorsports driver led for 264 of the 300 laps. Larson should be in the mix for glory once more come Sunday. But there are a number of racers who have made their presence felt in recent weeks and look poised to compete for that checkered flag once more. MORE: Watch NASCAR at Nashville live with fuboTV (free trial) On June 12, Daniel Suárez secured his first Cup Series win at the Toyota Save Mart 350 in Sonoma, becoming the first Mexican-born driver to win a Cup Series event. One week prior, Team Penske's Joey Logano closed the gap between him and points leader Chase Elliott, winning the Enjoy Illinois 300. And we can't forget about Trackhouse's Ross Chastain, who has finished top-five in seven different races so far, including impressive victories at Austin and Talladega. All of this is to say, Sunday's race should be an intriguing watch. Here's all the information you need to know to watch the Ally 400, including the start time and TV channel: Sunday's race is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. ET, though the green flag is expected to be waved at 5:23 p.m. ET. The NASCAR Cup Series heads to NBC for the remainder of the season. NBC will handle coverage of the Ally 400, enlisting Rick Allen as the voice of all the lap-by-lap action. He'll be joined by a pair of racing greats: Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Burton, who will provide additional commentary. Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte will round out the booth, offering his unique perspective at various points of the race, too. Viewers can also follow along via Peacock or fuboTV, which offers a free trial. (All times Eastern) (All times Eastern)
