Love is definitely in the air for Katie Holmes and her boyfriend, Bobby Wooten III.
The Coda actress and the musician spent a romantic day in New York City on Sunday—and when they weren't showing PDA, they were chatting and laughing. During their fun day out, they were seen riding Citi Bikes and grabbing lunch (and holding hands during the meal).
In April, the couple were seen on another outing; that time, taking the subway, visiting the Guggenheim Museum, enjoying Central Park, and spending time with Holmes's mother, Kathy Holmes, who was seen warmly embracing Wooten.
The pair looked casual for their most recent day date. Holmes wore a striped black-and-white shirt, loose blue pants, a green raincoat, white sneakers, and auburn sunglasses. Her hair was pulled up into a messy bun.
Wooten complemented her look in a teal T-shirt, khakis, a black bomber jacket, black sneakers, and matching square sunglasses with red-tinted lenses. He also carried a cross-body beige pouch to finish his look, and both he and Holmes wore long black socks.
At one point during their outing, they were seen kissing and embracing in the middle of the sidewalk, with Holmes sweetly wrapping her arms around Wooten, as passersby looked on.
Wooten, a talented musician, has played the bass for Moulin Rouge! and American Utopia on Broadway, and he is also an adjunct instructor at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. It's unclear when he and Holmes began dating, but they were first seen out together in late April, and a source told E! News that it's all very new.
"They know some of the same people who connected them and so far, it's working well," the source said. "Katie is excited about seeing someone and is very happy. It's new, but it's going well. She enjoys having someone in her life and he is very kind and good to her."
The actress—who is mom to daughter Suri Cruise—previously dated actor Emilio Vitolo, who starred in the film Almost a Year, which she co-wrote and produced. Prior to that, she dated actor and comedian Jamie Foxx for almost six years, in what was probably one of the most private relationships Hollywood has seen. And before that, Holmes was famously married to the father of her child, actor Tom Cruise, from 2006 to 2012.
