Ukraine is calling on the administration of US President Joe Biden to introduce sanctions against all russian private banks to deprive president putin of the opportunity to wage war. The Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA, Oksana Markarova, told Bloomberg. According to Markarova, official Kyiv wants the US to add several banks weekly to its list of sanctioned financial institutions. The ambassador said that she had forwarded a relevant request about this to the US Treasury Department. "Sanctions are as important as weapons," Oksana Markarova said.
