Zelensky: Russia has forgotten everything that was important for winners of World War II

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has emphasized the brutality of Russian shelling during the holidays. "The Russian army would not be itself if it did not kill even now - on the eve of certainly important days for any European," he said in a video message Sunday night. "The consequences of the Russian airstrike on Belohorivka of Luhansk region are about 60 killed people. Civilians who were just hiding in the school from the shelling. The targeting of the school is another crime committed by the occupiers," he said. "Another hit in Odesa region. Another hit on a residential house. New shelling in Sumy region. Brutal shelling in Donbas and Kharkiv region. It does not seem to be May 8. It seems like tomorrow is not the 9th of May, when the main word should be 'Peace,'" Zelensky stressed. According to him, "Russia has forgotten everything that was important for the winners of World War 2. But Ukraine and the whole free world will remember."
