Pentagon says Ukrainians being sent to Russia against their will

The United States has seen indications that some Ukrainians are being moved to Russia against their will, the Reuters news agency quoted Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby as saying on May 9. When asked about the camps, the spokesperson said he could not say what they looked like. Since the beginning of the full-scale military invasion, the invaders have forcibly abducted 181,000 Ukrainian children to Russia. About 2,000 of them are orphans who have been given up for adoption by Russian families.
