According to the head of state, some representatives of the Russian authorities support continuing the war, while others believe it must end.

Zelenskyi separately drew attention to the mood among Russian businesses.

The head of state stressed that several key factors could bring the war to an end. They include:

"If Western countries do not lift sanctions, increase pressure on Russia's shadow fleet and other sectors, and Ukraine remains strong on the battlefield, we will be closer to peace," he emphasized.

Kyiv's position on negotiations in general remains unchanged.

It is worth adding that on June 7, the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, together with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, said after a meeting in London that Europe must play an active role in settling the Russian-Ukrainian war and outlined five conditions for achieving a just and lasting peace:
