It has the largest number of both personnel and technical means. Their task is to carry out offensive actions in the direction of Severodonetsk, Lysychansk [in Luhansk Region], in the direction of Sloviansk and so on [in Donetsk Region]. But even this number of personnel and equipment is not enough for them," Kovalenko described the situation.The expert predicts that the grouping of Russian troops near Izyum may soon find itself surrounded, "or as Russian propagandists like to say - in a mousetrap"."And this will be, perhaps, the most serious encirclement of the Russian occupants during the entire 2.5 months of combat operations," he stressed.
