Elite Paratrooper Brigade Disbanded In Buryatia Because Of Huge Losses172.08.2022, 7:45 19,424 The invaders tried to cross the Dnieper River near Kakhovka but were defeated.Russia celebrates Airborne Troops Day on August 2. But the elite paratrooper brigade from Buryatia was not allowed to celebrate it, as it had been disbanded the day before because of huge losses.Relevant information first appeared on Russian Wikipedia, and then, of course, it was deleted, Channel 24 reports.Buryats Have No One to CommandThe article that appeared online quotes a statement by the Russian Ministry of Defence. It says that on February 26, 2022, the occupants tried to cross the Dnieper River near Kakhovka.During this attempt, the brigade commander of the Guards, Colonel Denis Shishov, was seriously injured. At the same time Brigade Deputy Commander Lieutenant Colonel Denis Glebov joined the ranks of "two-hundredths".And on June 29, 2022, the deputy chief of staff was also buried. We are referring to Lieutenant Colonel Pavel Kislyakov, chief of the operational department of the brigade staff."The Two-Hundredths" Will Not Fight Any MoreBut the most interesting part of this material concerns casualties among common servicemen. The Free Buryatia independent foundation, to which the author of the material refers, has reported on losses of this brigade's occupants as of July 25, 2022.They indicate that 7,250 paratroopers from Buryatia have already died. And there are still more than 5,000 in the queue. Another 8.5 thousand are missing. The incapacity index is off the charts. For example, in the 11th separate airborne assault brigade, it is as much as 47 %. That is every second soldier cannot fight any more. That is why as of August 1, on the eve of the Airborne Troops Day, it was decided to disband the corresponding brigade. And this despite the fact that during more than 5 months of full-scale invasion this very "elite" was constantly replenished. The command of the "second army of the world" had no mercy for its personnel, sending the military to certain death. The invaders became cannon fodder, which was regularly renewed. And they did so until the stockpiles dried up.Channel 24's sources in the security services noted that the above figures may be somewhat exaggerated. Ukrainian data indicates that there are fewer casualties among the paratroopers from the 11th Brigade. It is not yet known how significantly different the figures are.
