On May 16-17, spontaneous protests were held in Lugansk by wives and relatives who were forcibly “mobilized” for the war against Ukraine.
Such actions were recorded at the military prosecutor's office and the military registration and enlistment offices of Luhansk and Rovenki. The main demand of the protesters is the return of the mobilized home. The total number of participants is about 700 people.

The authorities of the so-called "LPR" do not pay compensation to the families of those killed and wounded during the war with Ukraine. To this end, medical workers in every possible way distort the diagnoses of the wounded. After the treatment of wounds and contusions, the soldiers of the "LPR" receive statements that indicate "osteochondrosis", "ulcer" or other diseases that do not provide for compensation payments.
This causes an acute sense of injustice on the part of the local population of the “LPR”, even despite the build-up of propaganda from the Russian Federation. Given the irretrievable losses of the 2nd Army Corps of the RF Armed Forces (it is in it that those mobilized from the territory of ORDLO serve), the situation with the support and perception of the war and subsequent mobilization by the local population is significantly reduced.
