Mae Whitman's Arms Are Covered in Tiny Tattoos You Had No Idea Existed

It feels like tattoo reveal week in the celebrity world. On March 23, Olivia Wilde bared her bum to show the dragon tattoo she got 26 years ago in celebration of her birthday. And on the same day, Mae Whitman showed off her arms full of tiny tattoos on Instagram.

The actor, who has been the voice behind beloved childhood characters such as Tinker Bell in the 2008 Tinker Bell film and Katara in Avatar: The Last Airbender, posted a carousel full of photos, the very first featuring her and Jennifer Aniston. In her caption, Whitman noted that she was on Live with Kelly and Ryan to promote her upcoming show, Up Here.

For the taping, she wore a multicolored floral Christopher Kane dress with sleeves ending right above her elbow. We get a full view of the dress and her arm tattoos in the fourth photo, which is a bathroom selfie. Her arms are full of small, black tattoos spaced out on her skin. It's hard to make out each one, but we can see some cursive font on her wrist. There is also a tiny face that looks like an alien, but it's partially covered by her silver chain bracelet.

This content can also be viewed on the site it originates from.

We weren't the only ones shocked to see her tatted-up arms. Her The Duff costar Robbie Amell commented, "When did you get all the tattoos!?” And Whitman responded with, "They’ve always been there you just weren’t looking hard enough Robert." She also included the emoji rolling its eyes at the very end.

Perhaps, Amell's comment will convince Whitman to show off her tattoos more often. Quite frankly, we would immediately tune in for her tattoo tour. (*wink wink,* Mae.)
