The government is launching free IT courses for Ukrainians

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine announced a financial support program for Ukrainians who want to master IT specialties. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the Cabinet meeting on June 10.   As the head of the government said, this will be the Start in IT program of providing grants for training. Those people who decided to learn a new profession and move to IT from other industries will be able to get the money. It will be possible to spend the funds provided by the state exclusively to pay for the school or courses, which will be determined by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.   "Ukrainians who wish to obtain the qualification of junior developer, graphic designer or another technical specialty will be able to receive a grant that can be spent only on IT courses. The state will allocate funding for 60,000 Ukrainians, who will be able to find work in this field after that," said Denys Shmyhal, and emphasized that this program should motivate people to stay in Ukraine and work to restore the state's economy.
