Every fourth able-bodied refugee from Ukraine has already been able to legally find a job in Poland. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of Poland, the authorized government for refugees from Ukraine Pavel Shefernaker, reports "Polish Radio". He said that 400,000 people of working age from Ukraine are registered in the PESEL database (identification number); more than 100 thousand of them, i.e. every fourth refugee, are already legally working in Poland. At the same time, he stressed that refugees from Ukraine are trying to rent housing on their own. At the same time, he assured that in various types of centers of state companies, government and local self-government there is still a reserve for several tens of thousands of places where these people can be accommodated. At the same time, the official recalled that so far Poland has not received any funds from the European Union that could be used to help refugees from Ukraine. Schaefernaker added that Poland proposes to create an additional European Union fund to help refugees from Ukraine.
