A Turkish cargo plane crashed near Kyrgyzstan's main airport early Monday, killing at least 37 people, including children.

The crash was caused by "pilot error," Kyrgyz Deputy Prime Minister Muhammetkaly Abulgaziyev said at a briefing broadcast on state television.
