A court will hear a case between the German Soccer Federation (DFB) and Robert Hoyzer, a referee convicted of trying to fix matches. After being booted from soccer, the ref may end up in the poorhouse.

Tickets for the German national team's matches in the 2008 European Championships in Switzerland and Austria go on sale on Tuesday, Jan. 15. Most would-be ticket buyers are expected to go away empty-handed.
